Sveriges Television försöker pressa Apple

Sveriges Television (SVT) har under dagen påbörjat en kampanj gentemot Apple för att få SVT Play för iPhone publicerat på AppStore.

Tilltaget som SVT börjat med är en riktigt intressant aproach för att få sin iPhone applikation SVT PLAY godkänd och publicerad på AppStore, SVT har nämligen skickat ett par medarbetare till Apple’s kontor i Cupertino med plakat i nävarna med texten “Please visit dearstevejobs.com and approve the SVT PLAY app”.

Utöver detta video-streamar SVT hela tilltaget live på deras kampanjsida dearstevejobs.com tillsammans med en ett öppet brev till Steve Jobs personligen gällande SVT PLAY.

we at SVT (the Swedish public service broadcaster) would like to ask you a favor. Below is a description of our SVT Play application. And to the right you can see all the Swedes who are eagerly awaiting its approval. So please Steve, hurry up and approve our app.?     We have tried to simplify the approval process as much as possible for you. Just press the green button below and record a video of yourself saying “JA” (that’s “yes” in Swedish, pronounced “yah”). ??Come on, Steve, Sweden is waiting. Say JA!
