Apple har tagit bort möjligheten att spela upp två olika ljudströmmar samtidigt från Apple Music till en mobil respektive HomePod.
Tidigare har det gått att spela upp en ljudström från Apple Music på HomePod och en annan på iPhone med deras vanliga 99 kronors abonnemang – nu verkar Apple ha åtgärdat detta. Det är oklart om det faktiskt var tänkt att det skulle fungera så tidigare eller om det bara var en bugg som medgav det.
Det var på Reddit informationen kom först och medlemmen som startade tråden berättar att Apple sagt att det aldrig skulle varit möjligt att spela upp mer än en ljudström åt gången.
Today I discovered an issue: When I tried to listen to different music on my iPhone, while my wife was listening on the HomePod in the living room, the music on theHomePod stopped. If I start music on myHomePod my iPhone stops and tells me that a different device is using the account.
I reset myHomePod last week to change the wifi, so I thought this might have caused the issue. I called Apple and the employee told me the parallel streaming would have been a bug which has been fixed, so that from now on parallel streaming on the HomePod and a second device over the same Apple ID is not possible.

9to5mac har kollat upp i avtalet där de hittat att det står att det krävs ett familjeabonnemang för att kunna utnyttja den här funktionen. Så om den här funktionen har försvunnit för dig så verkar det enda sättet att få tillbaka den att påbörja ett familjeabonnemang.
