Google presenterade idag att dess operativsystem för smarta klockor, Android Wear, nu är kompatibelt med iPhone. Du behöver en iPhone 5 eller senare som kör iOS 8.2 eller senare samt en LG Watch Urbane som är den enda klocka som för tillfället stöds. Om jag läst rätt så kommer inga andra tidigare släppta modeller av Android Wear att vara kompatibla med iPhone men däremot alla framtida så som modeller från Huawei (bilden ovan), Asus och Motorola.
- Get your info at a glance: Check important info like phone calls, messages, and notifications from your favorite apps. Android Wear features always-on displays, so you’ll never have to move your wrist to wake up your watch.
- Follow your fitness: Set fitness goals, and get daily and weekly views of your progress. Your watch automatically tracks walking and running, and even measures your heart rate.
- Save time with smart help: Receive timely tips like when to leave for appointments, current traffic info, and flight status. Just say “Ok Google” to ask questions like “Is it going to rain in London tomorrow?” or create to-dos with “Remind me to pack an umbrella.”

The Android Wear app connects your iPhone to your Android Wear watch. Once connected you’ll receive notifications from all your iPhone apps, right on your wrist, as well as timely information from Google Now (like traffic alerts, weather and flight status). You can also use the Android Wear app to configure your wearable device, including which notifications appear on your watch.
