IKEA går nu ut och meddelar att HomeKit-stöd till sina smarta pluggar kommer att bli försenat – detta då man inte tycker det är helt stabilt ännu.
IKEA passar även på att skriva att man har satt sikte på att ha den mest stabila smarta-hem-lösningen på marknaden därav vill man att allt ska fungera felfritt från dag ett. När uppdateringen med HomeKit-stöd kommer att lanseras vet vi inte, men förhoppningsvis dröjer det inte allt för länge. Nedan kan ni läsa hela meddelandet från IKEA:
“Dear TRÅDFRI friends,
I regret to inform you that the update that was supposed to enable the TRÅDFRI Control Outlet to be controlled through Apple HomeKit has been postponed. We have discovered an error in the update that potentially could have had a negative impact on the user experience. We have therefore decided to postpone this update until we can ensure that it is of highest quality possible. It is our highest priority to get this right and release the update as soon as possible.
Going forward we want to create the most stable and reliable Home Smart system on the market. This is why we have decided to raise our demands on updates even further. We want to cater to all types of smart homes, big, small, technical advanced, and to those who are new to the world of Home Smart technology. This creates a lot of demands on the TRÅDFRI system, and we are ready to make sure we meet these demands.
Again: We sincerely apologize for the delay and hope that you understand our reasoning behind it. Your customer experience was the top priority in making this decision.
